Dr. Nino Testa
Dr. Testa is currently the Associate Director of Women & Gender Studies at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, TX. He is originally from Akron, Ohio, but spent eleven years on the East Cost, first as a graduate student in the English Department at Tufts University, in Medford, MA, then as a staff assistant at the Women’s Center and Asian American Center at Tufts. He left his alma mater to work for the Feminist Press, a non-profit independent publisher in New York, but returned to Tufts to serve as the director of the school’s LGBT Center. While in this position, Dr. Testa taught queer studies classes and served on the advisory committee of the Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies program. He moved to Dallas in January 2017 and taught in the Humanities program at El Centro College, and shortly began his role at TCU. He has been instrumental in expanding the Women & Gender Studies program
